December 3, 2007: Milwaukee, WI -- Carelessly discarded cigarettes are the leading cause of deadly house fires. Now a lawmaker is calling for a fire safe cigarette to be sold in the state.12 News Investigative reporter Kent Wainscott puts the cigarettes to a test.

 

June 26, 2007: Oregon State Representative Diane Rosenbaum carrying House Bill 2163, which requires tobacco companies to sell only self-extinguishing cigarettes in Oregon.
